One of the strongest objective evidences that the Bible is Divinely inspired is the phenomenon of fulfilled prophecy, a phenomenon that is unique to the Bible because, although some religious books contain a few vague forecasts of things to come, they are in no way comparable to the vast number of specific prophecies that are found in the Bible.
(John 14:29
And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.
(John 13:19)
Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass,
ye may believe that I am he.
(John 16:4)
But I have told you these things so that when their hour comes, you will remember that I told you about them. I did not tell you these things from the beginning, because I was with you.
(Isaiah 46:9-10)
“I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done”.
Only God can precisely foretell the future, which is why fulfilled prophecy is part of how we know the Bible is true.
(Isaiah 42:8-9)
I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.
(Isaiah 44:6-9)
Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
