The omad diet, which stands for one meal a day is amazing for weight loss, boosting immune system and increasing energy levels. I've been doing intermittent fasting for the last 4 years and only recently did I switch the the omad diet. As far as weight loss results, I have not seen much difference since I already maintain a lean body all year round. What I did notice about omad before and after is the increased recovery from workouts, boosted immune system and increased levels of awareness and energy.
This has to do with the growth hormone that is boosted at the 24 hour mark. This growth hormone is anabolic. It builds muscle and burns fat.
