"Micky" - 1 month later - Some things should not happen, even in The Gambia

Micky came back for a check up, 2 weeks later than I asked them to bring him back. He looks horrible. Didn't put on any weight, 100s of Mangoworms.
Of course he will not contract Tetanus again, but the amount of parasites shows how much the owners care for their dog.
And I only billed them around 200$ for the 2 weeks intensive care. I think the i.v. fluids, antibiotics, Tetanus Serum and material that I used was more than that...
I sent Fatou with the guys to look at his compound afterwards. Micky is locked up in a 1.5m x 1.5m room during the day, without a floor, just open soil.
Some people should just not have dogs, once again.
