$4 vs $260 ❄ Cheap VS Expensive Pencils

Hi!
So this week I decided to compare two different sets of pencils -
1. Alpino (24 colors) set ($4)
2. Faber - Castell (120 colors) Polychromos set ($260)
To my surprise, Alpino pencils weren't that bad, as long as I was pressing hard on paper, but Faber - Castell ones (they were are a gift btw ♥) were vibrant in color and it was easy to use them. I'll definitely use Alpino for sketching, but the the more expensive ones - if i'll want to do some nice illustration to achieve nice blending and great tones for the subjects that I would draw.
