Bullying is Often the root cause of teen suicide.

IT'S NOT LOCAL UNLESS IT'S YONKERS VOICE
SUICIDE IS IRREVERSIBLE and BULLYING IS OFTEN THE ROOT CAUSE OF IT, LEARN TO RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS AND TAKE PRO-ACTION.
ONCE SUICIDE HAPPENS: THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO REVERSE THE ACTION.
Bullying and teen suicide is a serious issue affecting our entire Nation and Yonkers is not excluded. Not long ago (less then 1 month prior to this interview) a 14 year old in Yonkers took his own life and this action impacts many in the community.
We thank Dr Edwin Quezada the Superintendent of the Yonkers Public Schools for taking the time to speak with us and tell the parents the mechanism that Yonkers Public Schools have to address this serious problem.
