The ED has registered a money laundering case to probe alleged irregularities in the Rs 1,500 crore cin Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, officials said.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) did so taking cognizance of a CBI FIR that was registered in the case in December last year.
The ED will probe if the alleged tainted funds generated in the case were laundered and ploughed to create illegal assets by the accused, officials said.
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि ईडी ने 1,500 करोड़ रुपये की उत्तर प्रदेश की राजधानी लखनऊ में कथित अनियमितताओं की जांच के लिए मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग का मामला दर्ज किया है।
प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने सीबीआई की एक एफआईआर का संज्ञान लिया था जो पिछले साल दिसंबर में इस मामले में दर्ज की गई थी।
अधिकारियों ने कहा कि अगर मामले में कथित रूप से दागी गई धनराशि को अवैध तरीके से संपत्ति बनाने और गिरवी रखने का वादा किया गया तो ईडी जांच करेगा।
