During the holidays, I spent a lot of time at Ponce City Market. It's a great spot to meet for food off The Beltline and it's close to everything. One of the best places to get baked fresh doughnuts is Five Daughters Bakery. Tucked in a corner on the first floor near King of Pops, Five Daughters Bakery offers made daily from scratch doughnuts they describe on their website as "a premium treat made with as much as possible organic and locally sourced ingredients." I don't have a sweet tooth but I can't pass up a chance to get their vegan option of a glazed doughnut called The Purist. I've seen other vegan options there and they offer a great selection of non-vegan options also. No chemical preservatives, genetically modified organisms, hydrogenated oils, soy, artificial colors or flavors.
