1) Endometrioma (chocolate cyst) - fine, granular echoes in a well-defined cyst. Adjacent fluid in cul-de-sac.
2) Dermoid Cyst - Hyperechoic adnexal mass (consistent with fat)
3) Hemorrhagic cyst (complex) - Left adnexal cyst with internal septations and hyperechoic components (consistent with acute hemorrhage)
4) Follicular cyst - Simple, anechoic cyst
5) Dermoid cyst - With CT correlation, black is fat and white is calcification
6) Solid adnexal mass (fibrothecoma) - Solid adnexal masses are to be histologically diagnosed on biopsy since they all look very similar.
7) Follicular cysts in a bulky ovary - Incidental note in a obstetrical scan for fetal pole / FCA screening
8) Large cystic adnexal mass - Highly septated, thick walled mass. Differential can be an abscess like in TB, if history of fever supports it.
