A new spaceship-themed hotel dubbed 'The Guardian of the Empire' opened in the Crimean city of Alushta, as footage filmed on Tuesday shows.
According to the owners of the complex, the building is not just a hotel, but also a museum and entertaining centre at the same time.
Real science fiction fans can enjoy their protein pills and leave their helmets on for days in special space cabins, equipped with a mini-bar and TV.
"This is an amazing facility. You can dive into an absolutely incredible atmosphere, forget about daily problems, get lots of nice and positive emotions,” said one of the visitors.
Visitors will be also be given chance to experience the intergalactic world, evidently inspired by the Star Wars, with the chance of trying out 3D space flight simulators, playing with laser cannons and blasters, and even tasting “real space food”.
"Borscht [sour soup], soup, porridge, kompot [non-alcoholic sweet beverage of Slavic origin], kissel are among what we offer to our guests who stay aboard our spaceship which is called 'The guardian of the Empire'," said Olga Malitskaya, a staff member of the new complex.
