This video is a reaction to Buzzfeed's video, "People tell a pastor why they don't believe in God." Buzzfeed has been making videos featuring various influential Christian personalities like Lisa Gungor (in the video titled, "How I lost faith in the mega church" which many people have criticized as an unfair characterization of the facts.
However, when I saw their recent video where various people of faith/ nonfaith including ex-christians tell a pastor why they don't believe in god I was intrigued!
I felt that Erica Cambbell did an INCREDIBLE job displaying compassion and a genuine interest in these people. I felt that it was incredibly refreshing to see a person of faith react in a very loving way instead of what we usually see on the internet- yelling, fighting, condemning, and judging.
In this video, Emily and I share our reaction to buzzfeed's video, what we liked, what we didn't like and what we want to learn from it as well.!
