Badami bagh is a small railway station in suburbs of Lahore. The signal system are being upgraded here so for the time being the signals are manually operated and done through the traditional parchi system which is known as PLC (Paper Line Clear). In this system the station master after coordinating with up and down stations, gives the clear to oncoming train. The signal man holds a racket type thing containing a paper chit having clear signal. The assistant loco pilot grabs the racket, takes out the chit and then throws the racket.
In this video, two trains pass through Badami Bagh. One is 42 DN Karakoram Express and the other one is some passenger train.
