A Hundred Hands' initiative, 'The Annual Handmade Collective', a showcase and sale of handmade arts and crafts from across India. The Crafts fair will be held from 10th to 14th January 2019 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Over 60 artists from across India will display a range of products, including textiles and garments, jewelry, household goods, toys and gifts. The event is being organized by A Hundred Hands, a not for profit organization that aims to promote the joys of handmade and help artisans earn a more sustainable income from their craft. Interacting directly with the craftsman and the people behind the creations is an integral part of A Hundred Hands' philosophy of promoting handmade arts and crafts.
This year, A Hundred Hands is launching a new theme called the ‘Wonder of Water' to raise consciousness about the depleting water resources and the need to focus on its conservation. The member artists showcased at this crafts fair will pay a tribute to water through specially designed collections.
