Alien Blackout is about the worst idea for an Isolation sequel that any game publisher could have possibly conjured out. Isolation was a phenomenal game but Alien Blackout was the direct sequel that was recently announced for mobile, and there's a reason that these things continue to happen. Its not a coincidence that blizzard ran into the same issue very recently with a flagship franchise. Every Alien blackout review will pretend like it doesn't matter that its a mobile game, but the reality is, these things absolutely do matter, and today its time to look at why.
