YouTuber Winner Lao Wai wrote to me and showed me this article that he found on the HuffPost. In this article, an Asian American woman writes very candidly about her deep-seated shame when she walks around with her white fiance. It's a very interesting article, and it's definitely worth examining. I've never read something like this before. Most of the Asian women I know are cool, and the ones who date white guys fall into a 50/50. 50% don't see it as an issue and 50% do it because they're mad at their fathers or the fact that China traditionally valued sons more than daughters. Never have I met or read about an Asian woman dating white guys and feeling a little ashamed by it. Let's read and critique. Leave your comments below.
