The Nigerian American Young Adults Association (NAYA) was initially formed by the Nigerian American Mothers Association for Youth Advancement (NAMYA ) in 2009. This 501 (c)(3) non-for-profit organization was developed to create various opportunities for Nigerian youths across South Jersey, Delaware, and the Philadelphia Region. NAYA aims to encourage youths from 18 – 35 with various educational, networking, and cultural events to embrace the Nigerian community. We strive for the importance of representing each cultural tribe of Nigeria because we want to make sure that all our members are treated equally.
NAYA aims to fulfill its mission: “to unite the Nigerian-American young adults of this Diaspora, to encourage and promote advancement culturally, socially, economically, and in all avenues of life,” through a variety engaging programs and events.
