He Who Is Faithful In What Is Least

"He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much, and he who in unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon( money) who will commit to your trust riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man's who will give to you what is your own? No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon,(earthly wealth). Luke 16;10-13

Good morning Father God, my precious Lord, Holy Spirit and Helper. Please bless the reading of Your words this morning. I see these words in a richer and more wise way than I have before. Thank you for the way You give us eyes to truly see with and to understand Your truths. I come and pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Way, my Truth and my Life, Amen.

Lord, I will not name names but I have seen this played out in others lives and also in my own. People who are honest and people of integrity are people who, whether they have little in belongings or have more, they will live as they do with little or much. And You in us make such a difference. But then I have also seen those who have had little and were not careful or faithful with the little they had. I too, at one time, was not a faithful one with the gifts and things You gave to me. And because of my unfaithfulness I saw lack and loss. But I have now also seen how when we change and put You first, not our stuff, not our wants, not our fleshly ways, not our bills we have incurred but You, then You bless what we have and multiply it back. We really will have more than enough to meet our needs and more to give into Your kingdom and to do good for others.

Lord, I really see now that why would You trust us, or give more to us who cannot handle with wisdom and honesty of heart and soul the blessings we have. I heard a pastor say that You are not a left over or second place God. You desire first place in our hearts and lives. You do not want our leftover time or whatever is left when we have taken care of other things in our lives. You want first place in every area, even in our money. Because we can certainly begin to serve our wants, our desires, and things can end up owning us not us owning them. We will work our lives for things and not for the kingdom. Just like with Cain who brought God a offering but not Cain's best, his first, just whatever he did not really want, it was a token not a holy offering representing his whole heart. Abel's was his first best and You Father accepted it cause You knew Abel's will was to give the best, from his first fruits and best. So the same fact is the same for me. You want my love and devotion and not token acts or offerings.

I can see if I give to You grudgingly it shows that I do not love You and honor You with all my heart. But if I do not put any thing before You, any bill, any person, any desire, but Seek after You with all my heart and place You first You will bless what remains in my life and it will always be more than enough as it is now. But there is a curse on what we hold onto and not willing to give to You for everything belongs to You anyway and all things come from you. The first ten percent is yours and holy onto You. The other 90% is ours. Which amazes me cause You do not ask for 90% and us have 10%. You are loving and so kind and generous! There is no reason really why any of us cannot bring back to You that which is Yours anyway. That is not a offering cause it belongs to You anyway.

Lord, I do see in today's world that some do not respect or honor that which belongs to others. They do not take care of what they borrow or rent. They instead abuse and use what others have worked for and earned and go on like it is nothing. They do not care about anything but their own wills and ways. They put themselves first. Talk is cheap but what we do and say, how we live our lives speaks the truth about our character. We are either honest and transparent or we are not. We are trustworthy or we are not. We are respecters of God and others or we are not. We cannot be some of both. We don't want to hear that but it is true. You know the intents of our hearts as You knew Cain's. We may be able to fool other people sometimes, but we never ever fool You. We either love You and trust You with all we are and all we have or we don't. It is that simple.

Lord God, thank You for bringing me back to the fact that You want to be first place in my life. Nothing else will do. Also that first fruits are Your desire. It is in the Bible. You gave Your best, Your Son Jesus, the best of the best for us how can we even consider anything less that honoring You with our first and best. Thank You for showing me what is so vital and precious to You, and what is required of my walk with my Father, my God. You are either my God and Father or You are not, Lord of all, or not.
