Hedgehog Products launched an umbrella designed to withstand wind speeds at hurricane level. The Hedgehog Carbon has a carbon fiber construction, with polycarbonate gaskets and a stainless steel telescopic shaft. Each rib is designed to rotate and adjust independently to keep it covered, even with gusty winds over 70 mph, and the 1,190 mm diameter canopy is attached to the frame at 19 secure connection points. This canopy is interchangeable and can be exchanged in less than 3 minutes, by another striking color or design. Between showers, the Hedgehog Carbon has a length of 330 mm and tilts the balance to 420 g.
