In an attack similar to the one which took the lives of 40 CRPF jawans in Awantipora, a suicide bomber targeted a bus carrying personnel affiliated to Iran’s revolutionary guards, a day before the attack in Awantipora. The revolutionary guards in a statement said that a vehicle loaded with explosives had targeted a bus carrying affiliated border guards, in a way which was uncannily similar to the attack which killed 40 of our jawans. An extremist group, jaish al-adl which operates from western Pakistan reportedly claimed responsibility for the ambush, Iran's general Mohammad Bagheri has also reportedly claimed that Pakistan backs the group behind the ambush. The attack took place in Sistan and Baluchistan province which borders Pakistan. With India and Iran simultaneously cornering Iran, the question remains if time is finally up for Iran.
