Revel in Coffee, Tea and Chocolate at the CTC Festival 2019

Chocolate lovers, coffee enthusiasts and tea buffs have a lot to look forward to as the Chocolate, Tea and Coffee (CTC) Festival 2019 is expected to kick-off later this month.

Slated to run from January 30 until February 9 at Al Bidda Park, the delectable gala will showcase some of the world’s finest chocolate, tea and coffee brands while providing a platform to local businesses, dealing in the products, to shine a spotlight on their products, reported Qatar Tribune.

About 95 exhibitors from around the globe will participate in this year’s festival, offering visitors a chance to indulge in an elaborate tasting experience, the festival organizers announced on their Facebook page.

Apart from tantalizing one’s taste buds, those with dessert-making skills have the opportunity to release their inner dessert genius and prove their mettle in some exciting competitions that will be part of the 11-day extravaganza.

Festival organizers, Four & One have partnered with Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, to allow local businesses (involving tea, coffee, and chocolate) to gain prominence through this event.

The partnership aims to strengthen the link between the local businesses and the consumers. With the second-time participation, Bedaya Center, is offering basic startup prices to newly founded businesses in the field.

Moreover, the Center is offering 12 slots to startups in the form of stands or free space in its dedicated space at the festival. Additionally, 20 other startups will be able to display their products at Dukan Bedaya.

General Manager of Bedaya Center, Reem Al Sowaidi noted that, “The CTC festival provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs interested in this field to showcase and promote their goods and also demonstrate their production and marketing capabilities,” as reported by The Gulf Times.

A cadre of eminent international trainers in the field is also expected to attend the event to share their expertise with the visitors.

The first CTC Festival was held around the same time last year, which saw the participation of over 50 international and local exhibitors.
