Mewtwo is what many consider a "glass cannon" type of character. It dishes out damage fairly quickly, has really solid mobility and a solid edgeguarding game, but as a drawback, it is a very fragile character due to it light weight (it was slightly increased from Smash 4 to Ultimate making him as heavy as Fox) and floaty jumps, making it very easy to kill.
Because of those traits, Mewtwo has a hard time getting out of a disadvantage state in a match. It becomes difficult for Mewtwo to reset his situation back to neutral unless its opponent whiffs an attack and it manages to capitalize on his opponent's mistake.
Still, I got what I deserved... I got auto linked and got robbed of my recovery as soon as I used my Super Jump Punch.
