Tech Stocks Give A Boost To Wall Street

According to Reuters, tech stocks are giving a boost to equity markets on Wall Street.
On the day for Feb. 4th, Google's parent company Alphabet is up about 2-percent after posting their latest quarterly earnings report.
Apple and Microsoft are also trading up over 2.5-percent each.
Gains made by tech stocks gave a jolt to the S&P's technology sector, which rose 1.5-percent.
That helped the S&P 500 gain 12-points, rising half a percent on the day.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 111-points, while the Nasdaq Composite added 71-points.
