The proposal is being led by Labour MPs Phil Wilson and Peter Kyle, as well as vocal EU cheerleaders in the Tory party such as Dominic Grieve, Anna Soubry and Sarah Wollaston. Peter Kyle, MP for Hove, said the amendment would be added to the EU withdrawal bill, but if it is passed through Parliament, there will be a second referendum.
