I am increasingly convinced that anyone who claims conservatives should "fear" AOC have never seen her talking in interviews .
So what exactly were AOC’s talking points?
I got the first two:
That it is “painful” when you “go through the realization” that you can “benefit from the color of your skin” (AKA white) even when you’re “poor.”
Brett Kavanaugh had an identity meltdown because he actually believed that he worked for everything that he had.
As for the rest of her talking points, you’ll have to try to find them yourself, as she has never been known for being a clear communicator or a linear thinker. But, if you want to read through the following transcript of the video, go ahead and try:
Yea, and like, that is, the majority of, of a lot of s-, communities, how a lot of communities feel, and it’s because, if you haven’t had a transition in your life where, you know, you were maybe born poor, or born without, you know, certain privileges, and then especially if you transition into having certain privileges in your life, you actually see and feel and taste and smell all of the differences. If you’ve never experienced different treatment in your life, you wouldn’t know what different treatment feels like, or looks like, and it’s really, really hard. I mean, it’s like, and we can all, almost every single person in this country can acknowledge some privilege of some t-, type, you know.
Here comes my favorite part, where AOC is really trying to convince her interviewers about her understanding of being privileged:
I’m a cisgendered woman. I will never know the trauma of feeling like I’m not born in the right body. And that, that is a privilege that I have, no matter how poor, uh, my family was when I was born, um, but it’s really hard for some people to admit that they, you know, its part of this weird American-dream-mythology that we have, that for a lot of, in a lot of circumstances, it isn’t as true or isn’t as clearly communicated as we’d like for it to be, or we wish it would be.
Did you notice how she REALLY started to stumble when she said:
…no matter how poor, uh, my family was when I was born, um…
What a joke! The liberal media may not report on the fact that Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was NOT ACTUALLY RAISED IN THE BRONX like she implies on her bio, but in a wealthy community in Winchester County.
The Daily Mail covered that story:
Initially, the young family lived in Parkchester, a planned community of 171 mid-rise brick buildings in the Bronx.
When she was about five, Ocasio-Cortez’s family moved to the house in Westchester County, a detail that the bio omits.
The timing of the move is confirmed in a New York Times interview with mother Blanca Ocasio-Cortez, but the report does not address the discrepancy.
The story also shows that although AOC claims that her father was a “small business owner,” that he was, in fact, “an architect and the CEO of Kirschenbaum&Ocasio-Roman Architects, PC, which focused on remodeling and renovations.”
Looks like someone had some serious PRIVILEGE, eh Alexandria? When are the socialists going to report that?
