Nigel Farage hit out at a massive petition calling to revoke Article 50, claiming it would not be voted through by Parliament under “any circumstances”. The veteran Brexiteer even argued Parliament would be more likely to vote through a no deal Brexit. Speaking on his LBC show, Mr Farage said: “I do not believe there are any circumstances in which Parliament would vote to revoke Article 50. If Parliament was given the choice next week between revoking Article 50 or leaving on no deal, even our Parliament I think would probably go for no deal.”Referring to Theresa May, Mr Farage added: “She’s not going to resign next week.“The higher people get in politics, the more they care about their legacy, which is tough I guess for people like David Cameron.“But she is not going to walk away.”The Article 50 petition, which calls on the Government to ‘Revoke Article 50 and remain in the EU’ has attracted more than one million signatures.
