On August 2, 2015, a tornado-warned super cell, producing severe thunderstorms, roared across a large portion of Southern Ontario at a speed of approximately 100 km/h, causing widespread damage and power outages. This footage is its arrival in Hanover from my weathercam as well as my scootercam. As I was about to leave WalMart, the storm hit and I moved into the area between the entrance doors. Before long, the storm was coming inside and I got scared so I moved further into the store. Soon after, the power went out. I didn't have the right mount for the waterproof casing for my camera so I couldn't get any video of the damage on the way home or the emergency vehicles scurrying around. I didn't see any structural damage anywhere but there were many full-size trees on the ground and mass amounts of debris everywhere. Many streets in town were blocked as a result.
