THE RECIPE IN THE VIDEO
73g | 2.5oz water (at one point I say both 73g and 75g—it's 73g!)
2g | 0.07oz honey or vegetable glycerin
5g | 0.17oz shea butter
14g | 0.49oz sunflower oil
6g | 0.21oz complete emulsifying wax (emulsimulse/ritamulse, polawax, BTMS-50, or emulsifying wax NF)
Broad spectrum preservative, as required (learn more at
8 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops peru balsam essential oil
(You can use different essential oils if you want, have fun with it!)
EMULSIFYING WAXES YOU CAN USE
Emulsimulse INCI: Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, and Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate
Polawax INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-150 Stearate, Polysorbate 60, and Steareth-20
BTMS-50 INCI: Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol
E-Wax NF INCI: Cetostearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60
