ONE HOUR of floating instruction. Hope you guys can get something out of it. This video is a tribute to the tilesetters of the 80's and 90's in the San Franciso bay area who passed down their methods to guys like me. I started using this method in the late 90's and was taught by a master tilesetter, Bob Moody. I used this method until around 2012, and then we started using thinset to try to straighten walls. Through that, I have realized that floating with mud is faster and gives us a better product. We will be going back to this method for most of our showers.
This method is for professionals who are looking to stand out above the competition, not necessarily DIY or Handiman type. It takes a commitment to practice and develop your floating skills. But this video will help teach you how its done. We all started somewhere.
