Reduction of Adjective Clauses
An adjective phrase does not contain a subject and a verb. It is reduced from the adjective clause.
1. How to reduce Adjective Clauses to Adjective Phrases.
- With the Ing form, reduction of adjective clauses to adjective phrases is made in the cases of relative pronouns as the subject of the verb.
I. Active
11.Future Perfect Simple
E.g. The teacher that will have taught you this course for three months by May is Dr. Brown.
- The teacher that having taught you this course for three months by May is Dr. Brown.
E.g. I like Mr. Sam, who will not have stopped teaching us by next month.
- I like Mr. Sam, not having stopped teaching us by next month.
