Nigeria Demands $20Bn Back Taxes from Int'l Oil Companies (Shell, Exxon, etc.)

Nigeria has demanded that all major international oil companies pay 20 BILLION USD is back taxes and royalties to state governments where oil is produced. This may have been one of the significant moves that saw Buhari retain power. Where the oil companies will cough up the money is a whole other story, however. #AfricaWatch
