Somehow managed to get a tiny pin pr|ck in rubber brake line at the VW front wheel. Needed to replace the rubber VW brake line with a new unit. I couldn't find any at any of the local auto parts places in stock for a reasonable price, so I borrowed some stainless lines from Eleanore... and Eleanore gets some new VW stainless steel braided brake lines ordered for her today. While changing out the VW Fastback shift bushing, I accidentally damaged one of the front brake hard lines. I have no idea how old this brake like is, or was, but it began to leak. I believe this is the only original hard brake like from when I first got this car. I attempted to tighten the line to no avail, in fact it was so rusted I had to cut it just to remove it. I crimped/flared some bubble ends on some new stainless steel brake lines. Reinstalled the new brake lines on Ruby, the 1968 Fastback and bled the brakes... then got called to work!
