COPING WITH PATIENT DEATH IN HEALTHCARE | Break Room Chat. In today’s video we will talk about some of my coping mechanisms I put in place when patients die or experience poor outcomes. Dealing with patient loss and the general sadness that can come with healthcare was something that caught me completely off guard coming out of nursing school, and it took me a long time to figure out how to process what I was seeing when I went to work. Hopefully this is helpful for some of you who may be experiencing the same thing. How do you cope with patient death or poor outcomes? Let me know down below so we can continue the conversation.
