6) Practical USES:
In this video, I show you how to setup and use the Dual Remote Controller Mode with your DJI Mavic 2 drone - it works with both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Mavic 2 Zoom.
In the DJI GO 4 App, you need v4.3.16 or later in order to use Dual Controller Mode.
You can download this firmware on your phone or device in the DJI GO 4 app, or by connecting your Mavic 2 to your computer and running DJI Assistant 2 to do firmware v01.00.04.00 or later.
Once setup, the Dual Controller Mode will allow you to control both drones, though the primary controller overrides the secondary controller.
Why use two remote controllers?
- Flying with 2 controllers is beneficial for getting professional cinematic shots while one pilot flies the drone and the other pilot one moves the gimbal.
- It is great for search and rescue operations.
- It is great for giving lessons or showing a beginner how to fly so the instructor can override the beginner's controls.
