Irate students take to streets, burn tyres after SEE exams put off over question leak Students appearing for the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) in various districts of Province 2 staged protests on Friday, following the cancellation of the examination of Social Studies subject after a question paper leak.
The irate students organised protest rallies across the province and burnt tyres at various intersections in protest of the postponement of the examination.
The Office of the Exam Controller had postponed the Social Studies exams scheduled for today after question papers of the subject got leaked on Thursday and were widely shared on various social media platforms and media.
The students took to the streets and burnt tyres along the Dhalkebar-Janakpur road section and closed shops and local businesses in Janakpur.
In Birgunj, police lobbed tear gas shells after SEE students resorted to protest over leakage of question paper. They obstructed vehicular movement by burning tyres across the city.
