It was an exceedingly cold day in Fairbanks, Alaska. I think it was around -10 degrees Fahrenheit, which is somewhat warm relatively to what the weather is normally like in the winter. I was driving when I saw this older gentleman making his way slowly across the intersection. I normally don't pick up strangers, but I had to make an exception in this case.
