Application for individuals to stand in elections, delayed till August Thursday, the Constitutional Court dismissed the application to delay the elections, this was requested in order to allow a decisions to be made as to whether to allow individuals to stand as independent candidates in national or provincial elections.
The New Nation Movement, Indigenous First Nation Advocacy South Africa, or IFNASA, and Princess Chantal Revelle, who brought the application to court will have to wait until August for their initial case to be heard.
