- The IDEA (Innovation, Development, Entrepreneurship and Action) Centre for Enterprise Education serves onsite and online students in learning about entrepreneurship, business and community action. Hosted at the ConnexionWorks Business Centre in Saint John, the site offers project-based learning instruction and support.
This course is a unique leadership opportunity for motivated High School students seeking a challenge and craving the opportunity to take their ideas beyond the walls of the school. The program develops student-led projects with support from local entrepreneurs and social innovators. Students enrolled will be communicating regularly with mentors from the private and public sector. Virtual student projects are based in the student’s local school but will be supported by Stacey Wood, an experienced and skilled High School teacher based at the ConnexionWorks Business Centre in Saint John. By connecting to mentors and resources, the course will provide a base from which students can productively receive support and guidance and ultimately grow their ideas into successful ventures.
