The government has said that the IR will announce the state's anniversary on June 2, 2018. Just one day before that, on June 1, 2018, the IRS decided to postpone the announcement. The decision was taken after reviewing the CM KCR with the chairman and members of the Wage Amendment Committee (PRC). Prior to the submission of the PRC report, the CM was hesitant to declare that the IR announcement was inappropriate. The CM ordered the chairman and members of the PRC to submit the report immediately so that the employees can pay the IR. If employees pay one percent IR, they will pay Rs. 300 crores and 10 per cent will give Rs. 3,000 crore and 20 per cent would cost Rs 6,000 crore, Finance Ministry officials told CM. According to this calculation, the state government employees have to declare the IR of 27 per cent. 8,100 crore is expected to be a burden. State Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao recently told the media at the Secretariat that the state's economic condition is improving and incomes are increasing.
