he Xiaomi Redmi K20 (Poco F2) and the Redmi K20 Pro(Poco F2 Pro) are finally here. The Redmi K20 series was launched in Beijing, China, on Tuesday and soon after the launch, the two phones became the talk of the town. Even in India. And for all the right reasons. Both the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro -- at least on paper -- look power-packed. Both the phones come with top-notch hardware, seemingly flagship level cameras, latest pop-up camera tech, big battery, premium design and finally a big AMOLED display.

In China, the Redmi K20 (Poco F2) and the Redmi K20 Pro (Poco F2 Pro) fall into two different price brackets. And we believe, in India too, the scenario is going to be the same. In the Chinese market, the Redmi K20 will be available for a starting price of 1999 Yuan that roughly translates to Rs 20,000 approx. This price is for the base 6GB RAM and 64GB RAM model.

In comparison, the Redmi K20 Pro (Poco F2 Pro) is a bit more expensive and that’s definitely due to the flagship level processor -- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 -- that Redmi has used inside the Redmi K20 Pro (Poco F2 Pro). The China price of Redmi K20 Pro starts at 2499 Yuan, which roughly translates to Rs 25,000. This price is for the base model of the Redmi K20 Pro that packs 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

So, the question now is, what extra the Redmi K20 Pro offers for the additional Rs 5,000 (approx)? Let’s take a look.
