Axel Witsel's recent performances have not gone unnoticed by the team at EA Sports after they named him in the latest Team of the Week on FIFA 19's 'Ultimate Team' game mode. However, despite being recognised for his recent performances, it seems that the midfielder doesn't even recognise his own in-game avatar as he asked the game's developers to 'fix' his face. After finding out he had made the cut for Team of the Week on Wednesday, Witsel jokingly revealed that he wasn't best pleased with how he looked. The former Zenit star posted a picture of his in-game self on Twitter to prove his point as the character barely looks him. And while his character may have his iconic afro, it's hard to make a case against the Belgium international. He wrote on Twitter: 'Thanks but can we fix my in game face first?' EA Sports responded a few hours later to say that they'd try their best to make some improvements. Lukas from EA said: 'We will try our best! Keep up the good work Axel.' The 29-year-old saw the funny side of it after a fan took the in-game face and crudely photoshopped it on to a picture of him while playing for Belgium. One Twitter user also posted Witsel's in-game face from FIFA's competitors, PES, which did a much better job of recreating the midfielder's likeness. It's not the first time a player has been unhappy with their FIFA models. Jesse Lingard asked the game's creators to update his hairstyle after they included his signature 'JLingz' celebration in the FIFA franchise.
