Siachen’s lowest point, the snout of the desert ice-and-snow glacier, is at nearly 12,000 feet. Soldiers are deployed up to a height of 22,000 feet. It is often described as the highest battlefield in the world. A #soldier has no fear of death but a burden to do the best in their duty. The atmosphere, snow, mountains, and the isolation, the mind are bigger enemies which adversely affect body & mind. But we are there to brave them. #IndianArmy remains on #Siachen & dominates.
