By Lou Orslene The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) in collaboration with IBM has developed a first generation Mobile Workplace Accommodation Case Management App to support U.S. businesses in creating workplaces more inclusive of individuals with disabilities. The Mobile Accommodation Solution (MAS) app is a first-of-its-kind case management tool that supports employers, service providers, and individuals to streamline the workplace accommodation process at various phases of the employment cycle, from application to onboarding to advancement. Users of the MAS app can manage requests for workplace accommodations in real time from smartphones or other mobile devices.
The app provides users with a suite of fillable, accessible forms and the capability to store, print, and email records that can be imported into enterprise-level information systems. The free MAS can be downloaded from the Apple Store for iOS devices or the Google Store for Android devices. In this webcast, JAN highlights the features of the MAS APP.
