An engineer is appealing an Australian court ruling tossing out his lawsuit against his former employer, alleging he was bullied by his ex-boss who repeatedly passed gas in his office, according to local reports. The engineer, David Hingst, sued Construction Engineering in 2017, reports Australian news site news.com.au, alleging his former supervisor, Greg Short, would "lift his bum and fart."
According to the Australian Associated Press, Hingst claimed "flatulence was a form of bullying," accusing Short of repeatedly passing gas near him several times a day.
